Hello, I'm Anna Smith, a qualified independent celebrant, trained by the Academy of Professional Celebrants. I'm passionate about conducting meaningful and memorable ceremonies, full of love, hope and kindness.

 

What is a celebrant?  A bit like a vicar, without any specific religion, I help to set the scene, hold the space and deliver the ceremony for weddings, funerals or other significant life events. I focus on the person or people, so their individual values and beliefs are woven throughout.

 

Every person's life is a unique tapestry of stories - happy, sad and every emotion between - that I find endlessly fascinating. I love to hear these stories and craft them into a ceremony as unique and beautiful as the person or people at the heart of the event.

 

For a celebration of a life that has been lived or the beginning of lives entwined, my touchstones are always love, hope and kindness.
